Vladyslav Krasnoshchok

Vladyslav Krasnoshchok (b. 1980, Kharkiv) is a Kharkiv artist. Vladyslav Krasnoshchok studied at the Kharkiv Medical University in 1997-2002. Between 2004 and 2018б he worked as a maxillofacial surgeon at the Kharkiv State Emergency Hospital. In 2018 he left the hospital for a private dentist practice. Since 2010 he has been a participant of the Shilo [Awl] group (together with Sergiy Lebedynskyy), which manifests itself as the successor of the Kharkiv School of Photography. Broadening the fields of the medium, Kharsnoshchok uses methods of appropriation, hand-colouring, as well as combining his shots with sculptural objects. Apart from photographic-based projects, he experiments with graphic art, engraving, and street art.
