About the artist
Nastia
Daria Svertilova (b. 1996, Odesa) is a Ukrainian artist. She graduated from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris (M.A. in Photography & Video) in 2023. She was a member of the Join the Cool group (with Zhenia Volkov, Anastasiia Lazurenko, Christina Podobed) created in 2016. Daria is a finalist of the Palm* Photo Prize 2022.
One of the main subjects of Daria’s artistic experiments was youth, political and social contexts of their life. That is why the majority of her works are portraits of her generation. Lives in Kyiv and Paris.
