About the artist

Pinzel. Angel

Olena Subach (b. 1980, Chervonohrad, Lviv Oblast) is a Ukrainian photographer. Studied economics at the Volyn State University, Lutsk. For several years lived in Kyiv, earning a living with textile design. Got interested in photography in 2011. Today resides in Lviv. Since 2012 Subach has been working on art projects together with Viacheslav Poliakov. Winner of theBird In Flight “New East Photo Prize” (Calvert Foudnation, 2016, London, UK) for the Meteorite Berdychiv project, nominee of the Future Talents 2019 (Amsterdam, Netherlands, Gaude Polonia fellow from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland in 2019.
